Aqara Doorbell Camera G400 – smart video doorbell

Aqara Doorbell Camera G400 – smart video doorbell with local AI face recognition is a premium smart video doorbell that sets new standards in security and smart home integration. It is designed for users who demand uncompromising privacy, offering local face recognition, full support for Apple HomeKit Secure Video (HSV), and connectivity via the Matter standard, all without mandatory monthly cloud storage subscriptions.

Main features

• Local AI face recognition: The built-in AI algorithm quickly learns and recognizes the faces of your family members directly on the device, without sending data to the cloud. This allows you to trigger specific automations (e.g., playing a personalized audio greeting when a specific family member arrives home).

• Exceptional 2K resolution and wide viewing angle: With high sensor resolution and an ultra-wide 162-degree recording angle, it captures every detail in front of your door – from visitor faces to packages left on the ground by delivery drivers.

• Dual power options: The doorbell is extremely flexible in its installation. It can operate completely wirelessly using the included batteries, or you can connect it to your existing doorbell wiring (12–24V AC / 8–24V DC) for continuous 24/7 power.

• HomeKit Secure Video and Matter support: The doorbell integrates seamlessly into the Apple Home ecosystem, allowing for secure storage of recordings in iCloud with end-to-end encryption. Built-in support for the Matter standard ensures easy integration with Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and the Home Assistant platform as well.

• Included indoor chime (Chime repeater): In the kit, you receive an indoor unit with a built-in speaker (up to 95 dB), which also acts as a local Wi-Fi signal repeater for the outdoor camera. A memory card is inserted into this indoor unit, meaning your recordings are safe inside the house even if someone outside were to steal or damage the outdoor doorbell.

• Free local storage: It enables recording storage directly to a microSD card (up to 512 GB) and offers basic free event storage in the Aqara cloud, so you are completely independent of hidden costs.
