SONOFF SenseGuard Motion Gen2 (SNZB-03PR2) is the next generation of smart motion sensing, designed to eliminate the common frustrations of traditional PIR sensors. By combining high-speed motion detection with an independent light (lux) sensor and an exceptional 3-year battery life, it allows you to build highly reliable, context-aware automations without the need for constant battery changes.

It is the perfect basic Zigbee motion sensor for installation in hallways, bathrooms, and kitchens, as it offers a significant upgrade in response time compared to older models.

Key Features

• Lightning-fast detection and adjustable cooldown time: Detects motion in less than 3 seconds. Unlike older sensors with fixed hardware delays, Gen2 allows you to adjust the cooldown time from 5 to 60 seconds. This prevents false triggers and enables highly energy-efficient automations.

• Independent light (Lux) sensor: It features a dedicated, highly accurate ambient light sensor that records changes in illumination over time. You can create advanced rules – for example, hallway lights turn on only if motion is detected and the room is actually dark.

• 3-year battery life: It is powered by a massive CR2477 coin cell battery. You can install these sensors in hard-to-reach corners of your home and forget about them for years.

• Ready for Apple Home and Matter: Although it communicates natively via the Zigbee 3.0 protocol (excellent for Home Assistant or Zigbee2MQTT), it can also be easily integrated into the Apple Home ecosystem when paired with a compatible Matter bridge (such as the SONOFF ZBBridge-U).

• Wide area coverage: Provides a wide, 120-degree detection angle with a reliable range of up to 6 meters, ensuring comprehensive coverage for indoor security and lighting control.
