Shelly BLU TRV – smart thermostatic radiator valve is an innovative and highly energy-efficient solution for managing radiator heating in your smart home. It operates via the low-energy Bluetooth (BLE) protocol, which enables long battery life, fast response times, and easy local integration (via the BTHome standard). With smart schedules and precise temperature control in individual rooms, it helps you significantly reduce heating costs while maintaining perfect comfort.
Main features

Extremely long battery life (Bluetooth): Thanks to the Bluetooth data transfer protocol, it consumes very little energy. For remote control (outside the home) and cloud connection, it uses any of your existing Shelly Plus, Pro, or Gen3 devices (acting as a Bluetooth gateway) or a dedicated Shelly BLU Gateway.

Smart management and schedules: Via the Shelly Smart Control app, you can set complex weekly schedules for each radiator individually based on your daily routine (e.g., lowering the temperature at night or when you are not at home).

External temperature support: Since radiators are usually the warmest point in a room, you can easily connect the thermostatic valve to a separate Shelly BLU H&T sensor. The valve will then adjust the heating based on the actual temperature in the middle of the room rather than near the radiator.

Open window detection: In combination with a Shelly BLU Door/Window sensor, the valve can automatically close the radiator valve when it detects that the room is being ventilated, thus preventing energy waste.

Fast and safe installation: Mounting is very simple and does not require draining water from the radiator or intervening in the central heating system. The valve screws onto a standard M30 x 1.5 thread, and adapters for the most common valves (Danfoss) are included in the package.

Silent operation: The motor is designed to operate extremely quietly when opening and closing the valve, meaning it will not disturb you at night, even in bedrooms or children's rooms.
