Nous W2 smart camera
Nous W2 smart camera
The Nous W2 smart indoor Wi-Fi camera is a reliable and highly affordable security solution designed for everyday monitoring of your home. As part of the popular Tuya Smart ecosystem, it offers advanced motorized rotation and smart tracking features. Compared to its sibling model, the W7P (which offers 2K image quality), the W2 records in standard Full HD (1080p) resolution. This provides an excellent balance between image clarity and reduced memory card storage usage, while still maintaining all the key smart features you need to secure your living spaces, monitor pets, or use it as a smart baby monitor.
Main features
-
Motorized Pan and Tilt (PTZ): The camera offers a wide panoramic view of the room with 355-degree horizontal rotation and 90-degree vertical tilt. You can easily control the lens movement remotely via the app.
-
Smart Auto-Tracking: When the built-in sensors detect movement in the room, the camera automatically aims its lens at the target and follows it, while simultaneously sending an instant push notification to your smartphone.
-
Full HD Resolution (1080p): The sensor captures sharp images in high 2-megapixel resolution (1920 x 1080), which is perfectly sufficient for clearly identifying faces and activity in your home.
-
Two-way Audio and Night Vision: A built-in microphone and speaker allow for real-time conversation. Infrared (IR) LEDs provide a clear black-and-white image in total darkness at a distance of up to 5 meters.
-
Tuya Ecosystem and Voice Control: The camera is fully compatible with the Tuya Smart, Smart Life, and Nous Smart Home apps. It also supports hands-free voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
-
Flexible Storage: You can store video recordings and alarms locally on a microSD card (up to 128 GB) or choose secure storage in the Tuya cloud (requires a subscription).
